Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of injection moulding tools (2-plate, 3-plate, hot runner systems, etc.).
Conduct tool trials, identify issues, and execute corrective actions.
Carry out routine inspection, polishing, and reconditioning of moulds.
Handle tool fitting, assembling/disassembling, and bench work as required.
Maintain records of tool history, maintenance schedules, and spares usage.
Coordinate with the production and quality teams for tool performance feedback.
Ensure minimum downtime by proactively identifying tool-related issues.
Work on improving tool life and performance through engineering changes.
Maintain 5S and safety practices within the tool room and maintenance areas.

Key Requirements:

Diploma/ITI in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical, or relevant technical discipline.
3 - 6 years of relevant experience in injection moulding tool maintenance.
Strong knowledge of tool room machines like grinding, milling, lathe, EDM, etc.
Hands-on experience with preventive and breakdown maintenance of moulds.
Willing to work on Shift
