Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and collaborative Vendor Risk & Ecosystem Management Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for strengthening AT&T’s third-party vendor management capabilities, ensuring compliance and risk controls, and supporting continuous operational improvement. The successful candidate will work with global stakeholders, lead governance activities, oversee vendor performance, and drive best practices across the vendor ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Vendor Ecosystem Management:

• Develop and maintain a scalable and flexible operational framework for vendor management.
• Participate in and support governance activities, including Supplier Governance Review Board (SGRB) meetings.
• Lead preferred vendor status reviews and maintain up-to-date records in the Vendor Management System (VMS).

Performance & Compliance Oversight:

• Measure, analyze, and report on supplier performance, contract compliance, and risk metrics using real-time dashboards.
• Conduct audits (including spot-checks) with a focus on high-risk vendors, and document findings.
• Perform initial and ongoing risk assessments, categorize vendors by risk level, and conduct periodic reassessments.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory, cybersecurity, and data privacy requirements.

Risk & Issue Management:

• Take ownership of major supplier escalations, working cross-functionally to resolve delivery or compliance issues.
• Develop and implement remediation processes for non-compliance.
• Monitor the financial health and stability of vendors, including financial risk ratios, revenue concentration, and bankruptcy risk (e.g., Altman Z-score).

Stakeholder Engagement:

• Lead meetings with Vendor Relationship Owners to clarify program requirements and support documentation processes.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on vendor controls, advising business partners on contract protections and risk mitigation.
• Support and mentor colleagues in vendor control reviews and act as a point of escalation for risk and compliance issues.

Continuous Improvement:

• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of risk assessment methodologies and operational best practices.
• Share lessons learned and best practices with internal and external partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Compliance, Risk Management, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, vendor risk, or third-party risk management (TPRM), Contract Management
• Proven ability to analyze data, prepare reports, and present findings to senior leadership.
• Experience in conducting audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Strong relationship and contract management skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management abilities.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite, M365, SharePoint, and dashboard/reporting tools.
• Experience working with global teams and across diverse geographies.
