Industrial Services & Cybersecurity

At TÜV Rheinland, in the Industry Service & Cybersecurity business unit, we are looking for talents who are ready to help shape the future of the industry and accompany technological progress. Our focus is on digitalization and networking in the industry, as well as the further international expansion of our services in the field of renewable energy and support for major infrastructure projects.

This applies to the functional safety of industrial plants in an era of rapidly increasing interconnectivity of components and machines – the keyword being Operational Technology Security – as well as to energy generation, utilization, and distribution, infrastructure, and network expansion.

Our Core Areas:

  • Pressure Equipment & Plant Engineering: Inspection, testing, and certification services focusing on pressure equipment such as pressure vessels, boilers, tanks, and piping systems.
  • Elevators & Conveyor Technology: Inspection, testing, and certification services for elevators, conveyor belts, escalators, cranes, and machinery.
  • Electrical & Building Technology: Evaluation, inspection, testing, and certification services for electrical, mechanical, and electronic systems.
  • Industrial Inspection & Material Testing: Comprehensive inspection and testing services for industrial facilities and their materials.
  • Infrastructure & Project Management: Project and construction supervision as well as integrated services for infrastructure projects.
  • Energy & Environment: Technical support, certification, and testing for renewable energy and sustainable solutions.
  • Cybersecurity & Functional Safety: Testing and certification services for industrial automation, IT, and OT security solutions.

Primary role will be to drive sales and generate new business opportunities for third-party inspection services within the industrial sector. Responsible for understanding client needs, promoting the benefits of TPI services, and securing contracts with industrial clients. Your goal will be to meet sales targets, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the overall revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify potential clients and industries that require third-party inspection services.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, competitors, and client needs.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through lead generation, networking, and referrals.
  • Reach out to prospective clients through various channels, including cold calling, emailing, and in-person meetings.
  • Deliver sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the value and benefits of third-party inspection services.
  • Understand client requirements and tailor solutions to meet their specific needs.
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals, contracts, and pricing agreements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including technical experts and operations, to ensure successful project implementation and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the company's TPI services and identify new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations related to quality assurance and inspection services.
  • Provide accurate sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence to management.
  • Collaborate with the sales leader & operation team to achieve overall sales goals and targets.
  • Experience in Sales and Marketing / Business Development in TPIA for any of the Inspection services : Shop inspection ( Inspection @ vendor locations ) ,Site inspection ,Design Review , Expediting Services , Material testing, Pressure Equipments, Asset Integrity Management ( Tank Inspection, Pipeline Inspection, Risk Based inspections , FFS, T&A -Shutdown services ), Risk and safety Services (HAZID , HAZOP ,QRA)
  • Min 3-4 years geographical exposure of industrial area in Bangalore region and Peenya , Whitefield, Bommasandra, Electronic City ,KOLAR , HOSUR and nearby industrial area .

HSE:

  • Ensure adherence to the HSE roles, responsibilities & accountabilities as defined in MS-0047700-HSE Roles Responsibilities & Authorities.
  • Comply and ensure implementation of the company’s and the customer’s Quality, Health and Safety and EnvironmentalProcess requirements.

Experience & Further Qualifications

  • Proven track record in sales, preferably within the TIC industry or quality assurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of industrial processes and quality assurance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
  • Familiarity with third-party inspection services is preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of salesforce, CRM and other sales tools will be added advantage
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with clients
