Academic qualification

• Essential: B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent

Experience

• Relevant: Minimum 3–6 years of relevant industry experience in Wastewater Treatment Industry

Technical skills

1)diploma/BE in electrical or electronics with minimum 2 years of technical experience in electrical field

2)hands on experience in software autocad/E-plan/E-TAP/SAP will be added advantage

3)hands on experienced in MCC panels/PLC panels designing/testing

4)able to understand PLC/MCC panels electrical drawings and bill of material.

5)able to operate laptop/computer and able to work in excel/power point/ and able to send mails.

6)having work experienced with panel builder and able to do switchgear selection, complete bom for the panel

7)familiar with PLC,VFD,sofstarter

8)electrical project site erection and commissioning will be added advantage

Primary Responsibilities

Product & Component Design

• Develop 3D models, part designs, and complete assemblies using SolidWorks.
• Perform static stress analysis and validate designs for functionality, manufacturability, and reliability.
• Optimize design for cost efficiency, material usage, and ease of fabrication.

Drafting & Detailing

• Prepare 2D layouts, manufacturing drawings, and technical diagrams using AutoCAD.
• Ensure accuracy and adherence to industry standards, design codes, and internal quality processes.

Piping Design

• Design piping systems, layouts, and isometric drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Prepare bill of materials (BOMs) for piping components.
• Ensure compliance with process requirements, safety standards, and project specifications.

Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare design documents, calculation sheets, stress analysis reports, and manuals.
• Maintain version control and revision records of designs and drawings.
• Use MS Word & Excel for project documentation, reporting, and data management.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with production, procurement, and quality teams to resolve design-related issues.
• Provide technical inputs for vendor discussions and material selections.
• Support installation and commissioning teams with design clarifications.

Preferred Candidate:

• Exposure to fabrication, sheet metal, and welding design.
• Familiarity with design standards (ASME, ISO, API, etc.).
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and GD&T.
• Experience working in project-based environments.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):

• Accuracy and reliability of SolidWorks models and drawings.
• Quality and timeliness of design deliverables.
• Compliance with safety, quality, and industry standards.
• Effective coordination with project and production teams.
