The GIC Supply Chain team manages end-to-end operations, encompassing planning, sourcing, manufacturing, logistics, and analytics. They strategically plan to meet market demands, optimize sourcing, ensure efficient production, and oversee the seamless movement of goods from production to delivery. Purpose of the role
This role is for Analyst in Product Lifecycle Process Management and includes managing efficient information flow and Supply Chain execution that supports product lifecycle process. This role requires an individual to set up the raw materials, finished goods and the Bill of Materials in SAP ERP which will provide visibility to Supply and Demand. An Individual should be effective in communication to connect different stakeholders along with several business teams/ groups in the US.
Key Accountabilities
Operational Excellence (80% of Time)
- Work on single/ multi-layer BOM creation and maintenance for assigned manufacturing platforms/ business.
- Acquire knowledge of minimum of 2 different platforms/Operating Units/ activities related to PLPM process.
- Execute PLM spec/Temporary exceptions review for GMI plants and ESC locations for BOM maintenance activity.
- Support and execute ad-hoc large-scale Projects.
- Collaborate across supply chain teams to identify and implement information and product flow improvements.
- Gain expertise in General Mills planning systems and internal process tools (SAP ERP, STEP, R&D Suite, BOBJ, Interspec, SharePoint workflow etc. Resolve process related issues independently/ with support of senior team members.
- Ensure completion of execution of daily/weekly/monthly activities for Raw and Finished materials setup.
- Resolve queries independently/ Leveraging SMEs related to material and BOM setup
- Adhere to the SOP and processes set while doing the master data setup related to material and BOM setup activities.
- Identify process gaps, communicate to required business partners, and acquire information needed to eliminate gaps in material and BOM setup performance.
- Adhere to the quality framework rolled out for the team and support the audit.
- Daily/Weekly/Monthly maintenance of internal trackers to capture volume, accuracy, and timeliness for PLPM activities.

Minimum Qualifications
- Education – Full Time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)
- Minimum Degree Requirements – Bachelors
- Minimum years of related experience required – 3-4 years
