Industry & Sector:

Fast-growing EdTech / Student Enrollment and Admissions Operations — focused on higher-education upskilling, online degrees, and blended learning programs. This is an on-site role based in India supporting end-to-end admissions and enrollment operations for campus and virtual cohorts.

Primary Title (Optimized):

Admissions Operations ManagerRole & Responsibilities
  • Own the end-to-end admissions lifecycle: lead intake ➜ qualification ➜ counselling ➜ offer ➜ enrollment, ensuring smooth handoffs and SLA adherence.
  • Operate and optimise CRM pipelines (lead routing, scoring, nurture flows) to improve lead-to-enrolment conversion and reduce turnaround time.
  • Manage daily on-site admission activities including candidate counselling schedules, document verification, fee collection coordination, and local center logistics.
  • Produce and maintain KPI dashboards and weekly/monthly reports to track conversion, drop-offs, cycle time, and counselor performance; recommend process changes based on data.
  • Implement process improvements, SOPs, and quality checks to drive data accuracy in student records and compliance with admission policies.
  • Coordinate across operations, marketing, academics, and finance to resolve admission exceptions and support cohort start readiness.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

  • Proven experience managing admissions or enrollment operations in EdTech, higher education, or vocational training environments.
  • Hands-on experience with LeadSquared or Salesforce CRM for lead management and campaign workflows.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data cleansing) and strong Google Sheets proficiency.
  • Familiarity with Student Information Systems (SIS) and CRM workflow automation tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate operational reports and translate metrics into actionable process improvements.
  • Experience managing on-site admission centers, documentation processes, and multi-stakeholder coordination.

Preferred

  • Experience with cloud telephony / dialer platforms (e.g., Exotel, Knowlarity) or customer support tools (Zendesk, Freshdesk).
  • Basic SQL or familiarity with BI tools (Power BI, Looker) for deeper admissions analytics.
  • Experience scaling admissions operations across multi-city or multi-campus footprints.
