Job Description

Role and Responsibilities
Position: Accounts ManagerDepartment: Finance & AccountsKey Responsibility Areas (KRA)
  • Vendor Payment Management:
    • Timely processing of vendor/supplier bills.
    • Ensuring accurate documentation and approvals before payment.
    • Maintaining payment records and resolving vendor queries.
  • Banking Operations:
    • Preparation and execution of bank payments (RTGS/NEFT/Online Transfers).
    • Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS) preparation and verification.
    • Liaison with the bank for account-related queries and updates.
  • Statutory Compliance:
    • Timely filing of PF, Income Tax, Professional Tax, TDS, ESI, and GST returns.
    • Documentation and maintenance of statutory payment records.
    • Coordination with auditors for statutory audits and finalisation of Balance Sheet.
  • Payroll & Employee Records:
    • Collecting employee TDS-related documents.
    • Handling PF & ESI related work.
    • Coordinating with departments for payroll inputs and processing.
  • Student Fees Management:
    • Daily updating of RTGS/NEFT fee receipts.
    • Coordination with departments for fee recovery.
    • Verification of day book fee receipts and cash deposits.
    • Issuance of No Due Certificates to students.
  • Audit Coordination:
    • Liaising with internal and external auditors for balance sheet finalisation.
    • Preparation of audit schedules and necessary documentation.
    • Stakeholder Communication:
      • Point of contact for statutory records with stakeholders.
      • Responding to stakeholder queries related to statutory compliance.

    Skills And Qualifications

    Must Have

    • Bachelor degree in Commerce, Finance, or Business Administration.
    • 6 plus years experience in account management or consultative sales within B2B services.
    • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue quotas.
    • Strong negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder management capability.

    Preferred

    • MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification.
    • Exposure to cloud ERP and subscription billing models.
