The company provides AL & ML consultation, custom AI/ML model development, and solutions delivered by a team of experts in UX design, development, RPA, and AI. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Accounts Executive at Imperative Business Ventures Limited in Mumbai. The Senior Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing accounts, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. They will also oversee financial transactions, audits, and compliance with financial regulations. Job Summary: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Executive with strong expertise in taxation, GST, TDS, accounting compliance, Tally, and budgeting. The ideal candidate will manage and ensure smooth accounting operations, compliance with regulatory requirements, and support the overall financial planning and analysis process. This role demands a proactive individual who can work efficiently with accounting software and manage the company's financial records. CTC: As per the industry standards Key Responsibilities: Accounting & Bookkeeping: • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records. • Record daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts. • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss and Balance Sheets. Taxation Compliance: • Manage GST (Goods and Services Tax) returns and ensure timely filing in compliance with applicable laws. • Handle TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) calculations, filings, and submissions. • Keep abreast of changes in taxation laws and advise on their impact on the business. Accounting Compliance: • Ensure compliance with all statutory accounting and financial regulations. • Assist with external and internal audits, providing necessary documentation and reports. • Coordinate with the finance team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data. Tally Management: • Proficiently use Tally software to record and manage day-to-day accounting transactions. • Generate reports, ledgers, and other relevant documents using Tally. • Ensure Tally entries are accurate and aligned with accounting standards. Budgeting & Forecasting: • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and monitor variances. • Analyze financial performance and provide suggestions for improvements. • Support in cost analysis, forecasting, and strategic financial planning. Financial Reporting & Analysis: • Prepare and analyze monthly and yearly financial reports. • Provide financial insights and recommendations to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Other Responsibilities: • Liaise with banks and financial institutions for daily transactions and reconciliations. • Maintain records of receivables and payables, ensuring timely payments and collections. • Assist in payroll processing and related compliance activities. Qualification and SKillset Required: Educational Qualification: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or related field. • Professional certification in accounting (CA Inter, CMA, or equivalent) will be a plus. Experience: • Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and financial reporting. • Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, compliance, and tax filing. • Proficient in accounting software, specifically Tally. • Strong understanding of budgeting, financial analysis, and reporting. Technical Skills: • In-depth knowledge of GST and TDS regulations. • Familiarity with accounting principles and practices. • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) and other financial tools. • Experience in budgeting and cost analysis. Soft Skills: • Strong attention to detail and accuracy. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively. • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with team members.
