AccountantWe're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. The successful candidate will maintain accurate financial records, ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations, and provide insights that drive business growth. 💰 ResponsibilitiesFinancial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements. Bookkeeping & Record Keeping: Manage all accounting transactions and maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers, journals, and other financial records. Reconciliation: Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations, including bank statements and accounts payable/receivable. Tax & Compliance: Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (e.g., GAAP, IFRS). Auditing: Assist with and coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and processes meet regulatory standards. Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare budget forecasts and assist with financial planning, cost analysis, and investment decisions. Payroll & Expenses: Oversee payroll management, expense tracking, and processing of vendor invoices. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions that enhance efficiency and accuracy. Communication: Present financial findings and reports to management and other stakeholders in a clear and understandable manner. Qualifications & SkillsEducation: A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is typically required. Professional certifications like CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) are a significant plus. Experience: Proven work experience as an Accountant, Auditor, or Financial Analyst. Technical Skills: Accounting Software: Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms. Spreadsheets: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the use of pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and financial modeling. Key Soft Skills: Attention to Detail: Meticulous and highly accurate in handling financial data. Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data, identify trends, and solve problems. Integrity: A high degree of integrity and confidentiality is essential due to handling sensitive financial information. Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
