Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Financial Record-Keeping:
Maintain accurate and up-to-date ledgers, journals, and other financial records.
Financial Reporting:
Prepare essential financial statements, such as balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Develop and monitor organizational budgets, providing forecasts to aid in planning and strategic development.
Tax Compliance:
Prepare and file tax returns, ensuring compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations.
Auditing and Analysis:
Conduct internal audits to verify financial accuracy, review financial data for discrepancies, and perform risk analysis.
Accounts Management:
Manage accounts payable (paying bills) and accounts receivable (collecting payments) to ensure timely cash flow.
Cost and Profit Analysis:
Analyze spending and budgets, and consult on strategies to reduce costs and increase profits.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that financial records and reports comply with all applicable accounting principles, standards, and legal requirements.

Essential Skills:

Detail-Oriented: A keen eye for detail is crucial to ensure accuracy in financial data and reporting.
Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Communication Skills: Strong oral and written communication skills to explain financial information to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
