Location: Borivali Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: The Accounts Manager will lead the financial and accounting operations across the entire group of companies. This role demands a seasoned professional with strong leadership skills, deep expertise in balance sheet finalization, and comprehensive knowledge of financial reporting and compliance. The Accounts Head will ensure the accurate and timely finalization of financial statements and provide strategic financial guidance to the group. Key Responsibilities: Financial Management & Reporting: Ø Oversee and manage all financial operations, including the finalization of balance sheets for all group companies. Ø Prepare and consolidate financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards. Ø Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes for the group. Ø Ensure effective cash flow management and financial sustainability. Ø Supervise the preparation, review, and finalization of balance sheets, ensuring all financial records are accurate and complete. Ø Manage the year-end closing process, coordinating with auditors to ensure smooth and timely audit completion. Compliance and Audit: Ø Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and financial reporting requirements. Ø Coordinate internal and external audits, addressing any issues or discrepancies that arise. Ø Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns and other regulatory filings. Team Leadership: Ø Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting teams across all group companies. Ø Establish and maintain robust internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure financial integrity. Ø Drive continuous improvement in financial processes and systems. Strategic Financial Planning: Ø Provide financial insights and analysis to support executive decision-making. Ø Collaborate with the CFO and senior management to drive strategic initiatives and business growth. Ø Participate in mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic financial activities. Cost Management: Ø Monitor and manage operational costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements. Ø Implement cost control measures across all group companies to optimize profitability. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional qualification (CA, CPA, CMA) is preferred. Minimum of 3- 5 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, Extensive experience in balance sheet finalization, financial reporting, and analysis. Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and analysis. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Skills and Competencies: Expertise in balance sheet finalization and financial statement preparation. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities. Proficiency in financial software and Tally ERP systems. High level of integrity and ethical standards. Strategic thinking and business acumen.
