Job Title: Solar Procurement Executive Location: Borivali, Mumbai Salary: ₹5 to ₹6 LPA / As per Market Competency Industry: Solar Energy / Renewable Energy Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Solar Procurement Executive to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of solar components and services. This role requires a strong understanding of supply chain processes, vendor management, and the solar industry. Key Responsibilities: Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers and vendors for solar materials, including solar panels, inverters, mounting structures, cables, and other related equipment. Manage end-to-end procurement processes, from raising purchase requisitions to delivery and quality checks. Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery timelines with suppliers to ensure cost-effective procurement. Maintain updated records of inventory, purchase orders, and vendor contracts. Coordinate with engineering and project teams to understand material specifications and project timelines. Evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time, and responsiveness. Monitor market trends to identify opportunities for cost reduction and improved supply chain efficiency. Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory procurement regulations. Prepare periodic procurement reports and budget analyses. Required Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Minimum 2-4 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector . Good understanding of solar components, technologies, and project execution needs. Proficient in MS Office, ERP systems, and procurement tools. Strong negotiation, communication, and analytical skills. Ability to handle multiple projects and work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Attributes: Prior experience in working with EPC contractors or solar installation companies. Technical background or certification in solar energy will be an advantage.
