Account Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Supervise and manage the daily operations of the accounts department.
• Handle and monitor all accounting entries in Tally ERP, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
• Ensure timely preparation of Profit & Loss Account, Balance Sheet, and other MIS reports.
• Review and verify invoices, vouchers, and supporting documents for accuracy.
• Monitor accounts payable and receivable to ensure proper cash flow management.
• Oversee bank reconciliations, vendor reconciliations, and debtor-creditor ageing reports.
• Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, PF, ESI, Income Tax, and other statutory filings.
• Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits.
• Manage payroll processing and related statutory deductions.
• Train, guide, and evaluate the performance of the accounts team.
• Maintain proper documentation and ensure accuracy in financial data entry.
• Support management with financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control initiatives.
• Implement accounting systems, controls, and procedures to improve efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in accounting and finance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Strong working knowledge of Tally ERP (mandatory) and MS Excel.
• Good understanding of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliances.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
