Job Description

Hiring for Position: Zonal Sales Head- West for Used Car Loan


Purpose of Job:

Zonal Sales Managers


Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for establishing the Piramal brand by overseeing sales & business development activities for Used car loans and support the Business Head in developing new strategies and in scanning the market for potential new avenues to generate revenue and for creating zonal business strategy to achieve target disbursement numbers and values
  • Implement zonal strategy to meet the financial objectives of the zone, monitor expenditures, analyze variances, initiate corrective actions, introduce new business channels and ensure adherence to policies and processes of the function
  • Present the performance metrics of the zone to the senior management on a periodic basis
  • Monitor the loan book, product mix, yield, quality of the portfolio and other business metrics for the zone and provide guidance to regional sales managers for course correction
  • Coordinate and liaison with other function heads to drive requisite business metrics in the zone and provide feedback on product offerings, channels and processes to the heads of functional teams (Product, Marketing, Credit, Operations, Technical, Legal) so as to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Monitor regulatory compliances & collaborate with internal, external stakeholders to manage state authorities
  • Evaluate market trends and best practices prevalent in the industry and share insights with teams to plan and undertake measures for expansion of the business within the geographic limit of the zone
  • Oversee implementation of SOPs and best practices across all branches mapped to the region and guide regional sales managers how to best achieve business targets and manage productivity
  • Monitor annual budgeted expenses & manage resources within budgetary guidelines as per company policy
  • Guide the regional sales managers to drive business growth in the region through effective team management of both internal sales team and external channel partners
  • Mentor the teams for attainment of set targets and adherence to company’s processes, rules and regulations


Essential Experience:

  • Above 15yrs experience in retail financial services across NBFCs or banking industry
  • Demonstrated track record of building teams, channel and disbursements in Used Car segment.
  • Experience of recruiting and training of sales team and channel partners
  • Experience of managing multiple branches with deep knowledge and understanding of the respective geographies
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills
