.This senior leadership role offers the opportunity to shape and execute the financial strategy of a high-growth, global technology organization. You will oversee all aspects of financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, compliance, and capital allocation, while driving operational efficiency and profitability. The role requires close collaboration with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to support strategic decision-making and sustainable business growth. You will also lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. This position combines strategic vision, operational excellence, and hands-on financial leadership in a dynamic, remote-friendly environment.
Accountabilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies aligned with global and regional business objectives
- Oversee financial operations including Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, payroll, intercompany accounting, and statutory compliance
- Ensure adherence to local and international regulations, tax, and reporting requirements
- Lead, mentor, and develop a finance team while maintaining process redundancy to mitigate operational risk
- Provide financial and business insights to executive leadership, supporting strategic decisions, investment planning, and scenario analysis
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital allocation to optimize operational efficiency and growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cost optimization, profitability, and financial performance
- Prepare and present timely, accurate financial reporting and insights to internal and external stakeholders, including the Board
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or professional certifications (CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred
- 15+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, including 10+ years in senior leadership roles (VP, Head of Finance, GM)
- Experience in US-based SaaS, technology-driven, high-growth, or private equity environments
- Strong expertise in financial planning & analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic decision support
- Deep knowledge of Indian and international accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory compliance
- Proven experience managing shared services or finance centers of excellence for global operations
- Excellent leadership, people management, and team development skills
- Outstanding analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with financial systems (e.g., Oracle NetSuite, Salesforce, Excel)
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences
