US IT Technical Recruiter

Key Responsibilities

• Source, screen, and recruit IT professionals for US-based clients across multiple technologies (Java, .NET, Cloud, DevOps, Data, ERP, Full Stack, etc.).
• Utilize job boards (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.), social media, networking, and internal databases to find qualified candidates.
• Perform initial screening, evaluate technical skills, experience, and cultural fit.
• Manage the full recruitment life cycle: requirement gathering, sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, salary negotiation, and onboarding.
• Build strong relationships with consultants, vendors, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with US staffing policies, employment laws, and immigration (H1B, OPT, CPT, Green Card, USC, etc.).
• Maintain candidate pipeline and provide regular status reports to management.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years of experience as a

  US IT Technical Recruiter

  in staffing/consulting firms.
• Strong knowledge of US recruitment, tax terms (W2, 1099, C2C), and visa classifications.
• Excellent sourcing skills using job boards, Boolean search, and social platforms.
• Ability to understand and recruit for diverse technical skill sets.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in

  US time zones (EST/CST/PST shifts)

• Proven track record of successful placements and achieving hiring targets.

Nice to have

• Experience working with VMS portals and direct clients.
• Understanding of US payroll and compliance processes.
• Prior experience in both volume and niche hiring.
