About the Role

The Tender Manager will lead and manage the complete tendering cycle for solar EPC projects—from identifying opportunities to preparing competitive bids and ensuring timely submission. This position requires deep exposure to the solar industry, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to coordinate across multiple departments including design, engineering, procurement, and finance.

As part of ETPL’s Business Development and Tendering team, you will play a critical role in shaping the company’s growth by securing utility-scale, rooftop, ground mount, and floating solar projects nationwide.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end tender management for solar EPC projects across government, PSU, DISCOM, and private sectors.
• Search, identify, and track relevant tenders through government portals and procurement systems.
• Read, analyze, and interpret tender documents including technical specifications, eligibility criteria, BOQs, and commercial terms.
• Prepare both technical and financial proposals in coordination with cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate with OEMs, suppliers, and subcontractors for technical data, quotations, and compliance documents.
• Prepare accurate cost estimations, pricing strategies, and competitive bidding proposals.
• Attend pre-bid meetings, interact with clients, and respond to tender-related queries.
• Maintain tender trackers, follow up on bid status, and ensure complete documentation.
• Ensure that all submissions are compliant, accurate, and submitted before deadlines.
• Support senior management with tender analysis, proposal strategy, and business expansion planning.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum

  5–8 years of experience

  in the

  Solar Industry

  (mandatory).
• Bachelor’s degree in

  Electrical/Civil Engineering

  or a related technical field.
• Strong understanding of solar EPC tender processes of SECI, NTPC, GAIL, SAIL, Railways, Airports, DISCOMS, State Nodal Agencies, and major PSUs.
• Proven ability in cost estimation, BOQ preparation, proposal writing, and EPC project understanding.
• Proficiency in government e-tendering portals.
• Strong communication, coordination, negotiation, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines with high accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
