Role Overview:
The Technical Recruiter will lead end-to-end hiring for AI/ML, Data Science, and Technology roles across the organization. The role requires a deep understanding of modern technology stacks, niche AI skill sets, and emerging market dynamics. The individual will collaborate closely with technology and business leaders to build a robust talent pipeline and ensure timely, high-quality hiring outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Talent Strategy & Planning
- Partner with business and tech leaders to forecast hiring needs and define workforce plans across AI/ML, Data Science, Cloud, DevOps, Software Engineering domains, QA Engineers, Product Managers, and Technical Leads.
- Design and execute hiring strategies aligned with business priorities, balancing speed, quality, and cost.
- Track market trends, compensation benchmarks, and competitor hiring intelligence in the tech and AI ecosystem.
2. Sourcing & Recruitment Execution
- Attract top technical talent using multiple channels — professional networks, social media including LinkedIn, GitHub, Stack Overflow, Kaggle, Hugging Face, and specialized AI communities.
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: sourcing, screening, evaluating, negotiating, and onboarding.
- Build a strong pipeline for niche skill sets and senior-level technical roles.
- Evaluate candidates for both technical capability and cultural fit through structured assessments.
- Do first-level screening (understanding of skills, project exposure, architecture depth, etc.).
- Ask basic-to-intermediate technical questions to assess fit before forwarding candidates to hiring managers.
3. Stakeholder & Candidate Management
- Serve as a trusted advisor to hiring managers and leadership teams, providing data-backed insights and market perspectives.
- Maintain transparent, timely, and respectful communication with candidates throughout the hiring journey.
- Collaborate with HRBPs to ensure workforce alignment and smooth onboarding.
4. Process Excellence & Analytics
- Drive process efficiency and data accuracy using ATS systems.
- Monitor and report hiring metrics such as time-to-fill, quality-of-hire, and offer-to-join ratio.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and employment regulations.
5. Employer Branding & Candidate Experience
- Promote the organization’s tech and AI brand by highlighting innovation projects, thought leadership, and workplace culture.
- Deliver exceptional candidate experience and maintain long-term talent engagement.

Profile
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
- 8–10 years of experience in
technical recruitment
, with at least 3-4 years focused on AI/ML and Data Science hiring
. - Strong understanding of tech architecture, cloud ecosystems, and AI/ML development lifecycles.
- Proven experience hiring for product-based companies, GCCs, or tech consulting firms.
- Proficiency in sourcing using advanced Boolean logic, social media, and AI-driven tools.
- Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth, and evolving environment.
Preferred Background:
- Experience hiring across multiple technology hubs
- Exposure to tech assessment tools like HackerRank, Codility, or Glider.
- Awareness of diversity hiring best practices in technology.
