Job Description

Seeking a Technical Business Analyst (BA) with strong expertise in the Data ecosystem and Banking domain. The ideal candidate will not only bridge business and technology but also play an advisory role in identifying opportunities, mining the account, and driving value-added solutions. The role also requires strong Scrum Master skills to manage agile ceremonies and ensure smooth collaboration across teams.

Key Responsibilities

Business Analysis

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements in BRDs (Business Requirement Documents).
Develop workflow diagrams and deployment plans using UML standards.
Ensure alignment of requirements with business goals and regulatory compliance.
Support Model Risk Management (MRM) documentation and compliance efforts.
Partner with business stakeholders to translate functional needs into technical deliverables.

Agile / Scrum Master Responsibilities

Facilitate agile ceremonies: daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives.
Partner with Product Owner to refine and maintain a well-groomed product backlog.
Act as a bridge between Product Owner, DBAs, and development teams to ensure clarity and execution.
Create and manage user stories, tasks, and sprint iterations in Azure DevOps.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

Advisory & Account Mining

Act as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, identifying opportunities to leverage data for business impact.
Drive discussions around process improvements, automation, and efficiency gains.
Engage in account mining activities to strengthen client relationships and uncover new solution opportunities.

Required Skills & Experience

Domain Expertise: Banking & Financial Services (mandatory).
Technical Skills:
Strong SQL knowledge for data analysis, validation, and reporting.
Proficiency with Azure DevOps for backlog & sprint management.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Visio for documentation & workflows.
Business Analysis Skills:
Experience in creating BRDs, FRDs, Use Cases, UML diagrams, workflow charts.
Familiarity with compliance processes such as MRM.
Agile Methodology:
Hands-on experience as Scrum Master.
Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact at all levels.
