We are building one of India’s most exciting lab-grown diamond brands. In just 6 months, we’ve scaled from 0 to 6 retail stores with a rapidly growing omni-channel presence. The company is backed by marquee investors.

Role Overview

Talent & Culture Manager

Retail hiring will be a core focus — you will drive recruitment and scale store teams across multiple cities, ensuring service standards and culture remain strong. You'll work directly with the founders to shape the organization’s design, talent strategy, and employee experience.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys building from zero, and wants to create a modern, people-first HR function.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Retail Hiring

  • Lead end-to-end hiring across corporate and retail roles — with a strong focus on store hiring (salespeople, managers, trainers)
  • Build a high-velocity, multi-location hiring engine for new store launches
  • Develop sourcing strategies and partnerships to attract top frontline talent
  • Standardize interview processes and hiring SOPs

Culture & People Development

  • Define and champion company culture and values
  • Design onboarding programs for both HQ and store staff
  • Lead employee engagement and team-building initiatives
  • Launch L&D programs to upskill both office and retail teams

HR Systems & Compliance

  • Set up and manage HR systems (onboarding, payroll, performance, leave)
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws across states and employee types
  • Work with finance and legal on contracts, audits, and policies

Strategic HR Partnering

  • Advise founders on org design and long-term team structure
  • Drive performance management and career progression frameworks
  • Use people analytics to inform decision-making around retention, engagement, and productivity

Desired Skills & Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of HR experience with a strong focus on talent acquisition
  • Experience in retail hiring across multiple cities
  • Background in high-growth consumer brands, ideally across both corporate and frontline roles
  • Solid understanding of HR operations, systems, and compliance
  • Strong communication skills and people-first approach
  • High ownership mindset with a bias for action
  • Comfort in working independently and scaling HR from zero
