What are we building

We are developing a platform which will help our field operations team to effectively manage their task, capture cultivation logs from million plus hectares of paddy fields, effectively manage the supply chain of agri-inputs and aggregate third party services required during the lifecycle of paddy fields.


Role Overview:

We’re looking for a hands-on Recruiter with a strong understanding of startup hiring. The ideal candidate will have a full-cycle recruitment experience and a passion for finding great talent quickly and thoughtfully. You’ll work closely with hiring managers to fill roles efficiently, share insights from the talent market, and make the hiring process smoother and more engaging for everyone involved.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for assigned roles, from sourcing to offer stage.
  • Work directly with hiring managers to understand role requirements and create effective JD, sourcing and interview plans.
  • Share market insights (e.g., talent availability, salary trends, common offer structures in startups) to help hiring managers make informed decisions.
  • Tackle challenges constructively by sharing thoughtful recommendations and alternative approaches to hiring managers to expedite decision making.
  • Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and networks to build a steady talent pipeline.
  • Conduct resume screening and initial interviews to ensure alignment with skills and Rize’s Core Values.
  • Coordinate interviews, gather feedback, and ensure timely follow-up with candidates.
  • Identifying gaps and setting up SOPs and ensuring adhering to them by all stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data in the ATS/HRMS and track key hiring metrics and providing analytics as and when required.
  • Excellent MS Office/G-suit skill.
  • As part of a growing startup, you’ll occasionally contribute to broader HR initiatives beyond recruitment — such as helping with onboarding & training, employee engagement, employer branding, HR operations, or process improvement projects — whenever support is needed.


Requirements:

  • 2- 3 years of recruitment experience, preferably in a startup or high-growth environment.
  • Strong sourcing and stakeholder management skills.
  • Working knowledge of compensation structures and current startup salary trends.
  • Ability to prepare salary simulation files based on role budget.
  • Proven experience in handling recruitment for multiple roles and prioritizing tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent documentation, administration, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and recruitment analytics.
  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.


Preferred Skills:

  • Exposure to working in a multi-country setup.
  • Knowledge of salary structure for SEA regions and basic understanding of labour regulations.
  • Understanding of local labor markets and startup talent dynamics.
  • A go getter with ownership mentality who can figure things out eventually.
