Note: The role involves the up keeping, configuration, and reliable operation of computer systems, including servers and providing support to remote location team members on the same. Key responsibility areas: Management of basic working on servers, desktops, laptops and smart devices belonging to the organization, using tools like anti-virus solutions, firewall and other relevant software Management of software installation and upgradation requirements on all servers, desktops, laptops and smart devices belonging to the organization Management of data backup, recovery and restoration tasks for all servers, desktops, laptops and smart devices belong to the organization. Monitoring of organization's infrastructure assets on a periodic basis (servers, desktops, laptops and smart devices) Management of hardware component upgradation and maintenance requirements for all infrastructural assets belong to the organization. Maintenance and management of organization LAN, WAN and VPN environments and associated infrastructure Key Requirements: Basic knowledge of Hardware and networking Basic knowledge with working on operating systems - Ubuntu Linux, Windows OS Knowledge with setting up and usage of infrastructure monitoring tools. Must be knowledge of Cloud services like Azure Portal Knowledge with Active Directory Management Other important information: Work permit requirements: Either Indian Citizen or having valid works in India Period of engagement: Full time Probation period: 6 months Compensation: Compensation varies depending on the skill, fitment and role played by the person. Compensation discussions will take place post the selection process. Performance incentives: Typically, all roles at Acies have a performance incentive. Specific aspects will be discussed during the compensation discussion Leave: 22 working days a year. Additional leaves for national holidays, sick leaves, maternity and paternity, bereavement and studies vary based on the city and country of engagement. Desired Candidate Profile: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential. Must be dynamic, flexible and possess perseverance skills. Must have working knowledge of fundamental operations of relevant software, hardware and other equipment. Must have related experience and training in troubleshooting and providing help desk support. Should have understanding of business objectives and organization structure. The candidate must have strong work ethics and trustworthiness. The candidate should possess attention to detail and also maintain confidentiality and integrity. Must be highly collaborative and be a team player with commitment to excellence. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Self-motivated, fast learner with the ability to operate independently. Selection process: We seek to be transparent during the selection process. While the actual process may vary from the process indicated below, the key steps involved are as follows: Personal interviews: There are expected to be at least 3 rounds of online interviews. The number of interview rounds may increase depending on the criticality and seniority of the role involved.
