Job Description

The Store Manager is responsible for overall showroom operations, sales performance, staff management, customer experience, inventory control, and compliance with company policies. The role ensures smooth daily operations while achieving sales targets and maintaining Right Gold’s brand standards.

1. Sales & Revenue Management

  • Achieve monthly and yearly showroom sales targets
  • Drive walk-in conversion, upselling, and cross-selling
  • Monitor gold, diamond, and silver sales performance
  • Ensure correct pricing, making charges, and billing practices
  • Implement company schemes, offers, and promotions effectively

2. Showroom Operations

  • Oversee day-to-day showroom operations and opening/closing procedures
  • Ensure adherence to SOPs, security protocols, and compliance norms
  • Coordinate with security, housekeeping, and maintenance staff
  • Ensure showroom cleanliness, visual merchandising, and display standards

3. Team Management & Training

  • Manage sales executives, cashiers, and support staff
  • Prepare staff duty rosters and manage attendance
  • Train staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer handling
  • Monitor staff performance and discipline
  • Coordinate with HR for recruitment, onboarding, and performance reviews

4. Customer Experience & Relationship Management

  • Handle high-value customers and escalated complaints
  • Ensure excellent customer service and after-sales support
  • Maintain long-term relationships with repeat and VIP customers
  • Ensure proper documentation for purchases, exchanges, and repairs

5. Inventory & Stock Control

  • Ensure accurate stock handling of gold, diamond, silver, and coins
  • Monitor inward and outward movement of stock
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock reconciliation
  • Coordinate with accounts and audit teams for stock verification
  • Ensure safe custody and loss prevention at all times

6. Cash, Billing & Compliance

  • Supervise billing, cash handling, and daily cash tallies
  • Ensure compliance with GST, hallmarking, and legal requirements
  • Ensure proper documentation of sales, KYC, and invoices
  • Prevent fraud, pilferage, and policy violations

7. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare and submit daily sales reports and MIS
  • Share stock, sales, and staff performance reports with management
  • Coordinate with HO for inventory replenishment and transfers

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Graduate in any discipline (Retail / Management preferred)
  • 4–8 years of experience in jewellery retail, including a managerial role
  • Strong knowledge of gold, diamond, silver, and jewellery operations
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and customer-handling skills
  • Proficiency in billing software, POS systems, and MS Excel
  • High integrity and attention to detail

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
