Job Summary

The Accounts Executive cum Cashier is responsible for managing showroom billing, cash handling, daily accounting entries, and supporting statutory compliance. The role ensures accurate financial transactions, safe cash custody, and proper recording of sales and expenses in accordance with company policies.

Key Responsibilities1. Cashiering & Billing Operations

  • Handle showroom billing for gold, diamond, silver, and coin sales
  • Ensure accurate billing as per weight, purity, making charges, GST, and schemes
  • Manage daily cash collection, UPI, card, and bank transfer receipts
  • Perform daily cash tally and handover as per SOP
  • Ensure proper KYC and invoice documentation for customers

2. Accounts & Bookkeeping

  • Record daily sales, receipts, expenses, and journal entries
  • Maintain cash book, bank book, and ledger accounts
  • Reconcile daily cash, POS, and bank balances
  • Ensure proper filing of vouchers, invoices, and supporting documents

3. GST & Compliance Support

  • Assist in preparation of GST data for GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B
  • Ensure correct GST application on jewellery, bullion, and making charges
  • Maintain records for audits and statutory compliance
  • Coordinate with accounts head and auditors as required

4. Inventory & Stock Coordination

  • Coordinate with store and inventory teams for sales stock adjustments
  • Ensure proper tagging and billing of jewellery items
  • Assist in daily and periodic stock reconciliation
  • Support physical stock verification during audits

5. Vendor, Customer & Payment Handling

  • Maintain customer ledger accounts and outstanding records
  • Process vendor payments and expense reimbursements (as approved)
  • Maintain records of advances, refunds, exchanges, and repair bills

6. Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare daily sales, cash, and bank reports
  • Submit billing summaries and discrepancy reports to management
  • Assist in monthly MIS and financial reporting

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com preferred)
  • 2–5 years of experience in accounts and cashier role (Jewellery industry preferred)
  • Hands-on experience with Tally / ERP and POS billing software
  • Good knowledge of GST and basic taxation
  • Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • High integrity and responsibility for cash handling

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
