Job Description

Role & Responsibilities

Operate cash register and Point-of-Sale (POS) systems to process customer payments, issue receipts, and balance daily takings.
Manage petty cash, prepare daily cashbook entries and deposit surplus cash to bank as per process.
Record and post sales & purchase transactions accurately in Tally on daily basis
Perform bank reconciliation and verify incoming/outgoing payments (NEFT/RTGS/IMPS) against ledger entries.
Generate invoices / bills and support collections for overdue receivables.
Prepare daily/weekly cash and sales reports.

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

Proven experience in cashiering or accounts assistant operations preferably in retail stores
Cash handling and Point-of-Sale (POS) system operation
Tally ERP or QuickBooks proficiency
MS Excel for data entry and basic formulas
Bank reconciliation and petty cash management
Invoicing/Billing and basic GST transaction handling

This on-site role is ideal for detail-oriented candidates who have 2 to 4 years experience in Cashier cum Accounts preferably in retail stores & thrive on transactional accuracy, timely reporting & Annual CTC offered is between 2.4 Lakhs to 3 Lakhs per annum & candidates residing in Mumbai & comfortable to travel to Thane on site retail store only need to apply
