Job Title: Jewellery Showroom Manager Department: Sales & Operations Reports To: Owner / Regional Manager / Managing Director Job Summary: The Jewellery Showroom Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the showroom, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, achieving sales targets, and maintaining high standards in visual merchandising and inventory control. The role requires strong leadership, product knowledge, and the ability to create a premium customer experience. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Customer Service • Achieve monthly and annual sales targets. • Ensure every customer receives excellent service and personalised attention. • Handle high-value customers and resolve customer queries or complaints efficiently. • Guide customers about products, certifications, purity, and pricing. 2. Showroom Operations • Maintain cleanliness, ambience, and presentation of the showroom. • Oversee daily opening/closing activities and security procedures. • Ensure adherence to company policies, billing accuracy, and safety protocols. 3. Staff Management • Supervise and motivate sales team, cashiers, and support staff. • Assign daily responsibilities and manage staff schedules. • Conduct training sessions on sales techniques, product knowledge, and customer engagement. • Monitor staff performance and enforce discipline where required. 4. Inventory & Stock Control • Ensure proper handling of gold, diamonds, gemstones, and other jewellery items. • Monitor stock levels, reorder products, and minimize stock variances. • Verify daily stock, issue/receive items from vault, and maintain accurate records. • Coordinate with the inventory team for audits and stock-taking. 5. Visual Merchandising • Maintain attractive and updated product displays. • Coordinate with marketing team for promotions, festive setups, and new collections. • Ensure pricing tags and product information are accurate. 6. Financial & Administrative Duties • Oversee billing, cash handling, daily sales reports, and bank deposits. • Monitor expenses and optimize showroom profitability. • Prepare monthly performance reports and sales forecasts.
