We have developed various e-Health Solutions like Hospital Information Management System (HIMS), Laboratory (Pathology) Information Management System (LIMS), Radiology Information Management System (RIMS) along with a Picture Archiving and Communication System, Tele-medicine, Tele-Diagnostics, e-Pharmacy along with various mobile apps that cater to the needs of doctors, healthcare technicians and citizens. All our solutions are cloud- based. Along with software solutions we have also developed various IoT enabled medical devices like – ECG, Multi-parameter vitals monitor, Health Records Digitizer and a Health Kiosk.

Role Overview

You will lead a cross-functional engineering team, drive architectural decisions, ensure coding standards, and guide the team toward high-quality, predictable product delivery.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Leadership

  • Lead the design, development, and implementation of backend services using

    Spring Boot

    and microservices architecture.
  • Architect scalable data models and optimize database operations using

    MySQL

    .
  • Oversee development and integration of

    Jasper Reports

    for clinical and operational modules.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to frontend development using

    AngularJS

    .
  • Perform code reviews, enforce coding standards, and ensure best engineering practices across the team.
  • Own the technical roadmap and collaborate with the CTO for architecture governance.

Delivery & Agile Execution

  • Lead the team in

    Scrum ceremonies

    – sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives, backlog prioritization.
  • Ensure predictable sprint outcomes and remove blockers to safeguard velocity.
  • Manage Kanban workflows for support/maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers and QA to ensure end-to-end delivery quality.

Team Management & Mentorship

  • Mentor developers, ensure continuous learning, and nurture a culture of ownership.
  • Provide guidance in debugging, performance optimization, and scalable solutioning.
  • Support hiring and onboarding of new team members.

Quality & Performance

  • Monitor application performance, reliability, and security.
  • Implement best practices for logging, monitoring, error handling, and API design.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards and internal security policies.

Required Skills & Experience

SSE: 4 to 7 yrs

Lead: 7+ yrs (Lead exp is mandatory)

Technical Skills

  • 4–10 years of software development experience, with at least 2–3 years in a lead role.
  • Strong hands-on experience in:
  • OOps Concept and Design Patterns

  • Java, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, REST APIs

  • MySQL (schemas, indexing, query optimization)

  • Jasper Reports (designing & integrating reports)

  • AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Experience with

    Microservices

    ,

    CI/CD

    ,

    Git

    , and

    Cloud deployment

    (GCP/AWS preferred).
  • Solid understanding of scalability, high availability, and distributed systems.

Agile & Delivery Skills

  • Strong working knowledge of

    Scrum

    and

    Kanban

    frameworks.
  • Experience managing sprint cycles, estimation practices, story grooming, and velocity planning.

Team Skills

  1. Mentor developers

    to take ownership of critical modules and lead independent deliveries.
  2. Implement engineering dashboard

    for velocity, quality, and delivery tracking with real-time transparency.
  3. Achieve 90% team satisfaction score

    in internal engineering feedback survey related to clarity, guidance, and leadership.

Soft Skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and team management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced product environment and handle multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in

    Healthcare / HIMS / LIMS / EMR

    domain.
  • Exposure to OpenTelemetry, observability tools, and performance engineering.
  • Familiarity with reporting compliance for healthcare data standards.
