The Opportunity:
ECI has an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Senior Quality Assurance Engineer - ETL.
Senior QA Engineer obtains report requirements for all business, financial, and operations systems critical to core organizational functions. This includes researching and analyzing data in support of business functions, process knowledge, and systems requirements. He is responsible for the developing testcases, test execution to perform end to end testing and to create the test summary report for UAT testing.This individual will apply proven communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills to help maximize the benefit all Eze Castle systems investments and to assist in implementing new process improvement systems.This position is part of a team that will provide an enterprise view and the analysis and resolution of enterprise issues pertaining to business, data and application architecture and analysis. Members of the team will partner with the business divisions, technology, and operations to manage, drive and support enterprise-wide strategic initiatives across all value streams. The focus will be on end-to-end improvement, analysis, measurement, and cultural change.This is an
Onsite
role.
What you will do:
- Strong database knowledge- Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, MySQL.
- Strong SQL skills with experience writing complex data validation SQLs.
- Expert in Data warehouse testing and data warehouse concepts.
- Develop, document, and maintain test deliverables (Test Strategy, Test Plan, Test Cases, Test Summaries, Traceability Matrix, Defects metrics and test summary reports.
- Experience working in Agile environment.
- Ability to handle project deliveries including resource planning and effort estimation Identify and coordinate with integrating applications for test data setup.
- Should be able to decide testing and automation testing process along with automation tools and framework based on project requirements.
- Work with development team to have effective testing.
- Understanding of the defect tracking process and knowledge of any defect tracking tool such as JIRA, Confluence.
- An excellent communicator, both written and verbal, who thrives on solving problems and working in a global team environment.
- Adaptability to new testing technology and Ability to work in global and flexible hours (occasionally).
- Experience of working in onsite offshore model and Experience handling the communication across stakeholders including Business team.
Who you are:
- Minimum of 6 to 10 years of software testing experience with three plus years focusing on Test leadership and management at the project and program level.
- Experience in creating test strategies & test plan.
- Deep knowledge and experience with distributed systems design and testing.
- Good understanding of various Testing Frameworks (Data Driven, Keyword driven and Page Object model, BDD Framework, Hydrate).
- Good understanding on for ETL tool (Informatica,Abinitio).
- Experience with Selenium and other tools in automation testing.
- Experience, desire, and comfort to build and work with teams located globally.
- Experience with Agile process & other SDLC models.
- Should be capable to understand and debug the logs using defect management or any logging mechanism (HPQC,JIRA,Confluence).
- Should be able to generate a good automation report.
- Experience, desire, and comfort to build and work with teams located globally.
