THE OPPORTUNITY As a Sr. QA Engineer, you will be executing testing procedures to ensure that software meets established quality standards. Prepares data sets to test logic, error handling and system workflows. Isolates, reproduces, and tracks defects. Verifies fixes. Documents testing according to required procedures. Familiar with software development cycle and quality assurance methodologies. May assist with the creation of new testing scripts and plans. This position will have opportunity to work with enterprise scale application, latest technology stack and dealing with variety of integrations. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following: other duties may be assigned: Develop and implement comprehensive testing strategies. Design, write, execute, and maintain test plans, scenarios, scripts, and procedures. Identify, track, and report software defects. Work closely with the development team to ensure high-quality software development. Conduct thorough testing on software applications to identify and resolve system malfunctions. Create and maintain documentation on manual and automated tests. Perform root cause analysis for discovered defects and provide proactive solutions. Design and develop automated testing scripts and deploy these scripts using automation software. Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality. Ensure all testing results are easily accessible and understandable. Conduct post-release/post-implementation testing. Mentor junior QA Engineers, leading them towards effective problem-solving. Qualifications At least 6+ years of experience building test strategy and test Design At least 6+ years of experience in test execution analysis & reporting. Minimum 3+ years’ experience in Kafka, Microservices, New Relic, SQL and automation At least 3+ years’ experience leading testing teams who validate merchandizing systems for large retailers. At least 3+ years’ experience with BY (Blue Yonder) solutions, specifically in PMM (Product Management Module), SCPO (Supply Chain Planning and Optimization), or CATMAN (Category Management). Good exposure to retail domain. Solid knowledge of SQL and scripting. Hands-on experience with automated testing tools. Proficiency in Core Java. Experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and TestNG. Familiarity with Agile frameworks, E2E and regression testing. Excellent communication skills and Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision. Education And Experience Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field 6+ years of experience Supervisory Responsibilities This position will not be responsible for managing a team or direct reports.
