Excellent verbal & written communication in English

QA of medical devices, IEC 62304, Automation for mobile applications, Appium,

XCTest / Espresso or equivalent, White box testing, V&V, Web Services (preferred)

Mandatory Skills:

❖ 5+ years of hands-on Software Quality Assurance and testing in a regulated medical device industry.

❖ Experience developing automated test frameworks for mobile applications using tools such as Appium, XCTest,

Espresso, or similar.

❖ Strong understanding of various types of testing: unit, integration, V&V, white-box, black-box, regression, and

performance.

❖ Strong problem-solving skills with a knack for finding issues and articulating the steps to reproduce.

❖ Experience with testing hardware and/or backend web services is a plus.

❖ Awareness of SaMD standards like IEC 62304 & FDA quality system requirements.

❖ Able to work in a fast-paced, tight-deadline environment as a collaborative team player.

Responsibilities:

❖ Be a champion of both velocity and compliance by adhering to SaMD standards (IEC 62304) and FDA quality

system requirements. Identify, document, and track defects through resolution in JIRA.

❖ Collaborate with product, clinical, software, and hardware teams in defining use cases, writing test plans, and

executing test cases for a medical imaging device.

❖ Own the development and execution of automated solutions for improving product quality, compliance and

user satisfaction for iOS and Android Applications.

❖ Work closely with software engineers to review and understand product architecture and design to improve the

product’s robustness & quality.
