You are an experienced Automation/Manual Tester with a strong background in both manual and automated Software Quality Assurance. You have proficiency in C# and SQL, and you are looking to join a company operating in the Track & Trace industry, specializing in modern solutions for tracking and identifying products within the supply chain. As a key member of the QA team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of software solutions. **Responsibilities:** - Test planning and preparation: Analyze business and technical requirements, create test scenarios, and test cases. - Manual and automated testing: Execute manual tests for new features and regression testing; design, implement, and maintain automated tests using C# .NET. - API testing (backend testing): Perform functional and non-functional testing of RESTful and SOAP APIs using tools like Postman or Swagger. - Web application testing: Test web-based applications, including UI, functionality, and API layers. - Desktop application testing: Ensure desktop applications meet functional and performance requirements, especially for Windows-based software. - Automation of desktop testing: Develop and execute automated tests for desktop applications using frameworks like Coded UI, Winium, or SpecFlow. - Bug analysis and reporting: Identify and document defects in a bug tracking system, ensure their resolution, and proper tracking. - Test Management in Azure DevOps: Manage test cases, test execution, and defect tracking using Azure DevOps Test Plans. - Database validation and SQL testing: Use SQL Express and write queries to validate test data and perform backend data integrity testing. - CI/CD test pipeline development: Create and maintain automated test pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins. - Testing on virtualized environments: Work with Azure Virtual Machines to set up test environments, run tests on different Windows OS versions, and ensure compatibility. - Collaboration with the team: Work closely with developers, product owners, and other team members to clarify requirements and discuss issues. - Working in different software development methodologies: Have experience in Agile, Lean, and Waterfall environments. - Improving QA processes: Contribute to enhancing testing strategies, ensuring proper test coverage, and proposing automation improvements. - Test documentation: Prepare test reports, document testing procedures, and maintain test artifacts. - Ensuring quality compliance with Track & Trace industry standards: Verify that the software meets industry requirements like serialization and high-performance tracking. **Requirements:** - Professional experience: At least 4 years of experience as a software tester, including automation testing. - Test automation with C# .NET: Proficiency in C# programming and experience in building automated tests in the .NET ecosystem. - Experience in the Track & Trace industry: Previous work with projects related to tracking and identifying products. - ISTQB Foundation certification: Certified Tester - Foundation Level. - English proficiency: B2/C1 level. - Testing methodologies knowledge: Solid understanding of testing processes and different test types. - Hands-on experience with QA tools and technologies: Azure DevOps Test Plans, defect tracking tools, backend API testing, database testing, Windows OS expertise, virtual machines in Azure, web application testing, desktop application testing, desktop test automation, CI/CD pipeline development, and version control systems. - Team collaboration skills: Excellent communication skills, ability to work effectively with developers and business teams. - Experience with Agile, Lean, and Waterfall methodologies. **Nice to Have:** - Additional domain experience in Track & Trace regulations and serialization standards. - Advanced testing certifications. - Performance and security testing experience. - Experience with Docker or Kubernetes.
