About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced QA Automation Engineer with strong expertise in Cypress and experience testing both web and mobile applications. You will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining automation frameworks that ensure the quality, performance, and reliability of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web and mobile applications using Cypress (and Appium or similar tools for mobile).
• Create and execute test suites for regression, smoke, and API testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines.
• Analyze automation results, report and track defects, and drive quick resolutions.
• Continuously improve test coverage and enhance existing automation frameworks.
• Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies such as sprint planning, estimation, and retrospectives.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation for test scripts, results, and automation processes.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional experience in Software QA, with a strong focus on automation.
• Proven hands-on expertise with Cypress (JavaScript/TypeScript).
• Experience in mobile test automation (Cypress with mobile support, Appium, or similar tools).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Mocha, Chai, or Cucumber.
• Strong experience with API testing tools like Cypress, Postman, or Newman.
• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI).
• Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
• Solid grasp of Agile methodology, SDLC, and STLC.
• Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or BDD frameworks.
• Exposure to cloud-based test platforms such as BrowserStack, LambdaTest, or Sauce Labs.
• Familiarity with Allure Reports or similar reporting tools.
• Basic understanding of performance or security testing.

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
