Sr. QA Engineer

As a talented engineer at Park Place Technologies India Engineering Center, you will play a crucial role in building and delivering innovative products and solutions using the latest technology stack to revolutionize the industry. Your role will involve: - Collaborating with business analysts and product managers to translate functional specifications into comprehensive test cases and define integration and regression tests aligned with product release cycles. - Working closely with development teams throughout the software development life cycle to capture additional test scenarios and acceptance criteria for both functional and non-functional requirements. - Designing and developing manual and automation tests using industry-standard automation tools and frameworks. - Executing manual and automated tests, analyzing test results, and logging detailed reports for any identified bugs into the defect tracking system. - Providing subject matter expertise in quality engineering, mentoring junior QA engineers, and promoting best practices across the team and organization. - Offering timely and accurate reports to business stakeholders to help assess the severity and priority of reported issues. - Identifying opportunities for automating test cases and workflows, implementing automation solutions, and analyzing results. - Analyzing current test processes, conducting gap analysis, and driving improvements. - Ensuring test repositories are up to date by adding and updating tests and ensuring compliance from team members. - Ensuring test management procedures are followed and taking corrective actions when necessary. - Participating in UAT by assisting end users in troubleshooting, replicating issues, facilitating issue resolution, and validating fixes. - Providing coaching and training for non-QA team members on quality processes. - Showing willingness to enhance your skills, take initiative in learning new technologies, and continuously improve. Qualifications we are looking for: - 7+ years of experience in manual and automation testing of enterprise products. - Scripting/programming experience in C#, Python, or Java. - Understanding of web applications, REST APIs, and databases. - Experience in developing and executing maintainable manual/automation tests for acceptance, functional, and regression test cases. - Ability to communicate and coordinate formal test plans, test scenarios, test cases, and use cases across globally distributed teams. - Experience in defining and implementing quality processes throughout the release cycle. - Experience in troubleshooting issues, problem resolution, and risk analysis for product deployment. - Experience in training team members on quality standards and processes. - Strong problem-solving skills, excellent work ethic, and positive attitude. - Attention to detail and ability to empathize with the product user's perspective. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - Team player with a growth mindset, willingness to learn new skills, and take ownership.
