Sales Trainer The Sales Trainer is responsible for assisting in the overall training and development of entry level and seasoned sales professionals a focus on new hire sales training. This position works with our SDAs, BDRs, and Account Managers to discover and qualify potential Park Place Technologies opportunities with prospects and customers and develops and facilitates just-in- time training for all sellers across the organization. What you'll be doing: Participate in prospecting, discovery, quote review, and closing conference Provide coaching after a conference calls and as requested by SDAs and Create and facilitate recurring sales training Provide feedback to Sales Development Managers on interactions and observations of SDAs and BDRs. Remain up-to-date with current technologies, competitive landscape, and industry Stay current with sales and non-sales related company training via Uptime Act as a Subject Matter Expert for SDAs and BDRs to reinforce best practices and technical sales trainings. Provide support to the Sales Development Managers as requested Other duties as assigned. What we're looking for: A minimum of 1 year as a Park Place Account Manager or 2 years external training and development experience, with a focus on general sales skills and sales Previous sales or sales management experience, preferably in a Business-to-Business or I.T. The Senior Partner Account Manager is responsible for partner administration, account renewals, upgrades, customer service, and maintenance escalation activities. You will efficiently and timely coordinate all channel partner support requirements. You will effectively pitch, qualify, and close data center maintenance contract renewals and upgrades using technical selling skills and offering knowledge to partners. Selling consultatively, you will make recommendations to prospects and clients regarding the various solutions the company offers to address their business issues. Throughout the entire solution selling process, you will manage opportunities and leverage various sales tools and resources during the closing process. It is essential to identify decision-makers, influencers, needs, and develop relationships with personnel at various levels within accounts. Timely communications via phone calls and on-site visits will be initiated as necessary. Collaborating with the EVP of Sales, you will develop an annual sales plan detailing activities to focus on meeting or exceeding quota. Strategic conversations and business initiatives between territory reps and partners will be coordinated and driven by you. By staying in touch with existing partner reps, field reps, and territory reps, you will develop, build, and report on the pipeline of opportunities. Understanding the competitive landscape, pricing, and proposal models is crucial. You will determine when additional company resources are required to address specific sales and technical issues, documenting activities in the CRM program. Staying current with industry technology changes and company objectives is expected. You may lead the company into new, profitable revenue streams. Adherence to all company policies, procedures, and business ethics codes is mandatory. Actively participating and contributing to training and educational programs is encouraged. Routinely assessing time management effectiveness and preparing reports, quote delivery, assisting with opportunity creation, and revisions are part of the role. Responding to miscellaneous channel partner and customer requests is also expected. You should have ten years of sales experience, including IT-oriented sales, with knowledge of computers, servers, storage, and the ability to provide an integrated solution to prospects and customers. Prior Channel Sales Experience OR Territory Sales Representative experience is required. A Bachelor's degree is also required for this role, with 15% travel expected.
