Position Overview

Senior Manual QA Engineer with 8+ years of experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute

  comprehensive test plans and test cases

  for web, mobile, and enterprise applications.
• Perform

  functional, regression, performance, security, and usability testing

  to ensure end-to-end product quality.
• Work closely with

  product owners, business analysts, and developers

  to understand requirements and align them with QA strategies.
• Document detailed

  business requirements, release notes, and test reports

  using tools like

  JIRA and Confluence

  .
• Execute

  manual test cases across different environments

  .
• Identify, reproduce, and analyze defects; work with development teams for timely resolution.
• Ensure traceability of test cases with

  user stories, acceptance criteria, and JIRA story points

  .
• Explore and leverage

  AI tools

  to optimize QA efficiency and effectiveness.
• Work directly with

  clients and stakeholders

  to clarify requirements, provide updates, and ensure quality deliverables.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and validate features during development and post-release cycles.
• Stay accountable for

  project deliverables, deadlines, and release management

  activities.
• Mentor and guide junior QA engineers, fostering

  leadership and knowledge sharing

  within the QA team.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience

  in Manual Testing with a strong foundation in

  QA concepts and methodologies

  .
• Strong expertise in

  test planning, test case design, execution, and reporting

  .
• Experience in

  defect management cycle

  and logging defects with precision.
• Proven ability in

  client communication

  .
• Proficiency with

  test management and collaboration tools

  (e.g., JIRA, Confluence).
• Strong understanding of

  web services testing (REST)

  and database validations.
• Excellent

  verbal and written communication skills

  with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Leadership skills

  with prior experience in guiding teams and managing multiple projects.

Must-have

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 8+ years of hands-on experience

Preferred

• Relevant certifications such as
