Sr. Manager - IR & ER

Purpose/Objective

To proactively manage harmonious and amicable Employee Relation, Labour Laws Compliances, Contract Labour Management and effective Community Relation. Should be proactive in managing employee relations, ensuring compliance of all applicable labour laws. Keeping a regular intelligence on prevailing IR situation and quickly address to ensure industrial peace is not affected.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Play a key role in formulation and Implementation ER/IR Policy / SOP / strategies. - Keep close watch on Industrial Relations scenario, particularly w.r.t. Outsourced agency’s manpower, gather intelligence about anti-establishment activities and take proactive steps to curb such activities - Interact with employees and contractors and be vigilant about any prospective industrial unrest. - Identify any legal/ statutory requirements in the workplace. - Interact with Government Officials, Opinion makers, stakeholders, and other external agencies from time to time for ensuring industrial peace and harmony. - Proactively act upon any incident/accident and bring situation under control. - Interact with employees to identify and proactively address the workplace grievances. - Track Compliances of labour laws as principal employer and by contractors on on-going basis; take corrective actions, regular meeting with contractors for ensuring the compliance, Carryout compliance audit and plug non-compliances etc. - Plan and implement all statutory and non- statutory welfare measures for regular employees and contract labour. - Provide training to line managers on labour laws compliances to effectively utilize their roles in compliance management. - Training to Contract Labour for harmonious IR. - Kronos (CLMS) implementation and compliance - Interact with labour law practitioner to deal with compliance issues and court cases. Drafting of legal documents related to labour matters. Oversee Maintenance of all statutory records, IR and ER - Keep close watch on Industrial Relations scenario, particularly w.r.t. Technical Competencies

Knowledge of Statutory laws,Compliance Management,Contract Labour Management,Industrial Relations,Various Agreement preparation, drafting court and legal documents

Qualifications and Experience

MSW (HR), MLW, MIRPM, MLS, MBA Experience - 13-20 Years Desired Qualification LLB / PGD in Labour Law
