Role & responsibilities

Education in Master of Social Work (MSW) is a must.

1.Union & Employee Relations

• Manage day-to-day interaction with union representatives.
  
• Facilitate healthy unionmanagement relations and maintain a positive IR climate.
  
• Handle grievance redressal, conflict resolution, and employee issues at the shopfloor level.
  
• Participate in union negotiations, wage settlements, and collective bargaining activities.
  
• Ensure timely communication between management and employees on policy and operational matters.
  

2. IR & Compliance

• Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws, statutory norms, and factory acts.
  
• Maintain and update statutory registers, records, and documentation.
  
• Liaise with government authorities (Labour Department, Factory Inspector, PF/ESI offices, etc.).
  
• Coordinate audits, inspections, and ensure timely submission of statutory returns.
  

3. Disciplinary Process Management

• Manage disciplinary actions, domestic enquiries, and documentation as per company policies.
  
• Support the implementation of Standing Orders and code of conduct.
  

4. Workforce Management

• Oversee contract labour management, including vendor coordination and workforce allocation.
  
• Monitor attendance, shift rosters, overtime, and manpower planning in coordination with production teams.
  
• Drive employee engagement activities for workmen and plant-level staff.
  

5. HR Operations

• Support onboarding of workmen and staff at the plant.
  
• Implement HR policies, welfare measures, and plant-level communication.
  
• Conduct training sessions related to behaviour, discipline, safety, and skill development.
