Job Purpose

The role ensures smooth industrial relations, timely compliance, accurate documentation, and effective coordination with contractors, employees, and external authorities. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations through effective labor welfare and industrial relations management, ultimately contributing to business sustainability and workforce harmony.

To Maintain Constructive Harmonious Industrial Relations to meet the units obligations as per labour legislations and also maintain the welfare measures for the workmen and labour as per units practise.


Welfare:

  • Industrial Canteen Management ensure the quality of food services offered
  • Welfare activities in Plant Colony
  • Prepare and control welfare budget
  • Timely distribution of welfare items like uniform, shoes, Umbrella etc.,
  • Distribution of Breakfast/Lunch/Tea coupons without any discrepancies
  • Quarter Allotment to employees and workers
  • Ensure all welfare initiatives notified by Government are administered as per the law.


Industrial relations:

  • Interacting with the workmen for collecting the feedback about their perception.
  • Giving feedback on labour activities
  • Ascertaining giving proper feedback on Union / Workmen activities to the Management
  • Enusre no unrest on account of IR issues
  • Coordinate in Union meetings

Sharing the right information to the management when and where required

  1. Assist in implementing welfare schemes, medical facilities, canteen operations, and housingrelated support.
  2. Coordinate employee engagement activities, welfare camps, awareness programs, and grievance redressal processes.
  3. Maintain welfare records and ensure availability of amenities as per statutory norms.
  4. Ensure

    100% implementation

    of all statutory compliances related to welfare.
  5. Maintain a

    positive work culture

    among workmen.
  6. Handle

    union negotiations and manage industrial relations

    effectively.
  7. Monitor and manage

    disciplinary activities

    within the workforce.
  8. Improve

    workers quality of life and health

    .
  9. Create a

    safe and efficient working environment

    .
  10. Enhance

    worker satisfaction and motivation

    .
  11. Reduce

    industrial fatigue

    and promote intellectual, cultural, and material wellbeing.
  12. Address

    worker concerns

    and provide appropriate solutions at the site.
