Pentair Global Engineering Center (GEC), Noida drives innovation and sustainable product development by collaborating with and supporting business units worldwide through technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead and execute new product development, VA/VE initiatives, and sustaining engineering projects with minimal supervision.

· Design, build, and implement prototypes, testing equipment, and validation procedures; perform data collection, analysis, and technology verification.

· Develop CAD models, engineering drawings, BOMs, within the ERP system & drive automation of CAD-related activities.

· Conduct competitor analysis to stay updated on industry advancements

· Perform technical calculations for design optimization and ensure documentation meets standards

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams locally and globally.

Qualifications:

· B.E./B. Tech/M.E./M. Tech in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

· 4–6 years of professional experience in mechanical design and development.

Required Skills:

· Strong grasp of standard engineering workflows and best practices: Proficient in stage-gate NPD processes, DFM/DFA, change management (ECN/ECO), risk assessment (FMEA), and APQP/PPAP.

· Ability to leverage innovative thinking to design and implement solutions that enhance product efficiency, reduce costs, and support sustainability goals.

· Piping & process: Strong in P&IDs, pipe sizing, instrument selection.

· Experience with automation systems and field commissioning.

· Strong knowledge of material selection and manufacturing processes.

· Practical experience of additive manufacturing for rapid prototyping.

· Exposure to FEA & CFD for structural and flow analysis.

· Good experience in Data analytics skills (Excel, Python, BI tools).

· Strong communication & Documentation skills.

· Experience with industry-standard project tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, SAP etc.

· Advanced MS Office skills (Excel & PowerPoint).

· Superior critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

· Exposure to Python coding for engineering solutions

· Basic knowledge of AI & machine learning applications in design/optimization.
