Over 500+ young professionals have emerged as a promising associates, managers, project heads in consulting, business, heath, legislative assistants, personal advisors, officers on special duty, governance and political spectrum. We have reached around 1 crore households across different geographies cutting across different states. From our offices across few states, our partners, collaborators, managers, fellows, employees, community volunteers, consultants in coordination with government offices have worked on relentless problem and provided tangible implementation initiatives and collaborated to make people and resource centric decisions.
The Fellowship is an on-ground opportunity for law, humanities and social studies students and young professionals to engage with grassroots communities. This fellowship empowers fellows to serve as catalysts for legal empowerment by simplifying complex legal systems and making them accessible to citizens.
There exists a deep gap between legal rights on paper and rights exercised in real life. This gap is often due to lack of awareness, fear of authority, or limited access to legal aid. The fellowship aims to address this by equipping fellows with practical tools to conduct legal literacy sessions, facilitate access to grievance redressal mechanisms, and connect people with the legal aid system.
As a Fellow, you will design and implement community-level awareness campaigns, develop legal education materials in local languages, and facilitate basic legal aid support. Your responsibilities will include conducting village meetings on key laws and entitlements, helping citizens file RTI and legal aid applications, creating IEC content, and supporting community members in accessing welfare schemes through proper legal channels.
Location: On-site fellowship in districts of Satara, district with Satara as central point of location in the state of Maharashtra. Non-negotiable on location criteria.
The candidate whose first month performance is extra-ordinary and at par level will be exempted and facilitated for hybrid mode depending upon the need and timelines.
• Requirements:
- Students & phd researcher currently enrolled in graduate and postgraduate in law, legal systems, interest and passion to work along with government systems or in evolving project settings with grassroots-level interaction, travel to dynamic field environments.
- Designing multiple operations on manifold agendas with KPI Surveys to collect citizen-level data and institutionalize feedback mechanisms.
Analytical knowledge in consulting, Health tech, public policy, development collaboration , multi-stakeholder engagement, resource sharing and engagement, governance initiative, capacity building
- Willing to relocate to the job location and explore new geographies
Strong Microsoft Office Suite(Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Python, Power BI, Dashboards) : Minimal of 4/5
- Excellent Documentation skills : Reflection, Presentation, Aesthetics, Graphs, Numbers etc
- Work independently & collaboratively in a team environment, strong organizational, multitasking, problem-solving abilities.
- Candidates willing to work remotely would be considered for Unpaid Fellowship and training for the candidates will be facilitated by experts in this domain with 3-15 years of experience in political consulting, fin-tech, research, politics, policy, development studies including thematic verticals such as HR & Operations, Strategy Management, Client Relations etc
Internship- Fellowship Experience in Consulting experience, immersive internship module experience Government Domain, Social Impact Space.
Operate effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment by managing multiple deadlines, tasks, and priorities efficiently. We look for people who are smart, can pull sleeves if needed, curious, mindful but sensible, adaptable and creative in their approach.
What We Offer:
Selected candidates will be provided stipend of Rs.7000 along with daily meal facility and a shared accommodation within 0.25-1.25 km radius of office premises. The provided accommodation will be equipped with basic amenities.
All field travel and stakeholder engagement activities will be facilitated and coordinated by the organization in accordance with project requirements.
