Foundation for Innovation and Technology Transfer (FITT) at IIT Delhi is a leading interface for academia-industry collaborations, fostering innovation, R&D projects, and entrepreneurship. We manage a dynamic portfolio of programs, including AI startups, summits, and funding initiatives. Our team drives impactful social media and digital marketing strategies to enhance visibility, engage stakeholders, and promote our mission of technology transfer and inclusive innovation.
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive social media and digital marketing specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle end-to-end social media operations, including content creation, copywriting, strategic planning, posting, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders. This role requires a strong focus on accuracy, adherence to approval processes, and collaboration to minimize risks and ensure high-quality output. With at least 1 year of hands-on experience in Meta Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, you will also support paid campaigns to amplify our reach.
· Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field (MBA or equivalent preferred).
· Minimum 2 years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, or a similar role.
· Proven hands-on experience (at least 1 year) with Meta Ads, Google Ads, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager, including campaign setup, targeting, and optimization.
· Strong copywriting skills with a keen eye for detail and ability to create compelling, error-free content.
· Proficiency in social media platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, X, etc.) and tools like Hubspot, Hootsuite, or Buffer for planning and scheduling.
· Excellent organizational skills with the ability to document plans, follow processes, and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination and teamwork.
· Commitment to professionalism, including accepting feedback, adhering to protocols, and demonstrating initiative without aggression.
· Experience in PR, branding, or event promotion, particularly in tech, innovation, or academic sectors.
· Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and performance tracking.
· Knowledge of SEO, content optimization, and emerging digital trends.
· Ability to work independently as an individual contributor while thriving in a collaborative team setting.
