Job Summary
As an OIC and OSB Administrator + PL/SQL Developer (IC4), you will own the stability, security, and performance of Oracle Integration Cloud and OSB/WebLogic platforms, providing expert administration, operational support, and hands-on PL/SQL development. You will be responsible for environment management, proactive monitoring, incident/problem/change management, patching, performance tuning, and fulfilling safe data maintenance activities—ensuring high availability and business continuity for critical integration services.
Qualifications & Skills
Mandatory:
- 8+ years of hands-on administration for Oracle Integration Cloud, Oracle SOA Suite/OSB, WebLogic in enterprise environments
- Advanced WebLogic/OSB admin skills: domain config, WLST scripting, JVM/GC tuning, JDBC/JMS, threading/connection pools
- Deep OIC administration expertise: connections/agents, certificates, security configs (OAuth2/SAML/WS-Security), monitoring, error hospital, and retention policies
- 5+ years of PL/SQL development: complex packages/procedures, performance tuning (AWR/ASH/SQL Monitor), indexing/partitioning
- Proven incident/problem/change management and on-call support; effective RCA leadership
- Enterprise CI/CD automation: Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/GitLab, WLST, Ansible, Python/Shell/Groovy, Terraform/IaC
- In-depth enterprise security: TLS/SSL, certificate management, RBAC, OAuth2/SAML, least privilege, auditing
- High availability and disaster recovery operations, including clustering, rolling patching, backup/restore, RAC connectivity
- Strong documentation and stakeholder interaction skills
Good-to-Have:
- Experience with OCI services (Compute, Networking/LB, IAM, Vault, Logging/Monitoring, OKE) and Terraform
- Familiarity with observability/APM and load testing (JMeter/Gatling)
- Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOX, PCI, HIPAA, GDPR), secure SDLC, and regulated environments
- Practical knowledge of VBCS, Oracle ERP/SCM Cloud, API gateway/management platforms
- Relevant certifications: OCI Architect, SOA Suite/OSB, WebLogic, Oracle PL/SQL
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
- Environment Administration: Operate, optimize, and secure OIC, OSB, and WebLogic environments, including clusters, connection pools, certificates, allowlists, and lifecycle tasks.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Maintain observability and alerting using OCI Monitoring, ELK/Splunk, Prometheus, or similar tools; troubleshoot integration failures, connectivity, and performance issues; lead root cause analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions.
- Change, Release, and Config Management: Execute controlled deployments using CI/CD (Git, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins/GitLab, WLST, Ansible, Terraform); enforce environment parity, manage configuration drift, and maintain inventories/runbooks.
- Patching & Upgrades: Plan and execute rolling patches/hardening; validate backup/restore processes; perform capacity and performance planning.
- HA/DR Operations: Maintain clustering, session replication, and DB/RAC connectivity; test disaster recovery (DR)/BCP playbooks and validate RTO/RPO targets.
- Governance & Collaboration: Adhere to ITIL processes; author SOPs/knowledge articles; collaborate with application, database, and network/security teams to ensure audit compliance.
- PL/SQL Development: Develop, review, and optimize PL/SQL code (packages/procedures/functions) for integrations and operational data tasks; diagnose and tune for performance; design and safely execute data fixes; support bulk data operations and data pipeline reliability.
