About the Company:

We are a fast-growing, late-stage SaaS company solving mission-critical problems for global clients. With strong product-market fit, a global footprint, and healthy YoY growth, we are entering our next phase of scale – expanding across markets, strengthening operations, and planning towards a potential strategic exit / IPO.

We are looking for a strategic finance leader who will partner with the executive team to lead the finance function, drive financial planning, reporting, and compliance, and define the financial architecture of a scalable SaaS business.

Role Overview:

Head of Finance / VP – Finance

Key Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Finance & FP&A

• Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning.
• Monitor and analyze key SaaS metrics: MRR/ARR, CAC, LTV, Churn, Gross Margin, Payback Period, NRR, Burn Multiple, etc.
• Provide strategic financial input on decision-making issues affecting the organization (e.g., pricing strategy, GTM investments, market expansion).
• Build and track dashboards for real-time financial and operational metrics.

2. Accounting & Controllership

• Ensure timely and accurate closing of books on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• Oversee AR/AP, GL, payroll, taxation, and treasury functions.
• Implement strong internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and financial discipline.

3. Compliance & Regulatory

• Ensure compliance with all statutory, tax, and legal requirements – including GST, TDS, ROC filings, and transfer pricing.
• Manage external audits, including statutory audits, due diligence (in case of fundraising), and internal audits.

4. Fundraising & Investor Relations

• Partner with CEO and external stakeholders for equity and debt fundraising.
• Prepare financial models, pitch decks, and investor communication materials.
• Serve as a key liaison for investor updates, board meetings, and diligence processes.

5. Team Leadership & Systems

• Build and mentor a high-performance finance team.
• Implement or optimize financial systems, ERP, and tools suitable for SaaS financial operations.
• Drive automation across invoicing, collections, compliance, and reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education

  : CA / CPA / MBA Finance from Tier 1 institute.

• Experience

  : 16+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in leadership roles in SaaS/Tech/Startup environments.
• Hands-on experience with global accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP), especially for companies with cross-border operations.
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
