We are now seeking a FinOps Product Manager - a systems-minded, data-driven, and automation-oriented product leader who will own the end-to-end financial operations platform that powers reconciliation, anomaly detection, invoicing, vendor cost management, and granular unit economics across MatchMove’s ecosystem.

You’re an operator-builder who understands that scaling a financial platform means balancing precision, compliance, and automation.

You thrive at the intersection of finance, data, and technology —equally comfortable discussing settlement logic with engineers, cost optimization with finance, and reconciliation metrics with auditors.

You’ll own the FinOps charter — from defining next-generation reconciliation frameworks to automating manual financial processes through agentic workflows and intelligent operations.

Responsibilities:

• Own the FinOps Platform Roadmap: Define, build, and evolve the internal financial operations platform spanning reconciliation, vendor payments, and cost attribution.
• Drive Automation via Agentic Workflows: Design AI- and rules-driven workflows that proactively flag anomalies, suggest resolutions, and execute low-risk actions autonomously.
• Manage End-to-End Reconciliation: Enable automated multi-party reconciliation (ledger network bank vendor) across currencies, programs, and regions.
• Enable Real-Time Unit Economics: Partner with Data Engineering and Finance to instrument granular cost and margin analytics at transaction, partner, and product level.
• Invoicing & Vendor Management: Define workflows for automated vendor billing, payment scheduling, and cost recovery with full auditability.
• Define Metrics & KPIs: Track platform health and operational excellence via metrics like reconciliation accuracy, automation coverage, time-to-resolution, and invoice turnaround.
• Collaborate Across Stakeholders: Work with Finance, Engineering, Compliance, Data, and Operations teams to ensure accurate reporting, traceability, and SLA adherence.
• Champion Audit & Compliance Readiness: Build tooling and visibility to meet regulatory and accounting requirements (PCI-DSS,SOC2, MAS).
• Productize Internal Workflows: Identify manual finance or ops/touchpoints and turn them into configurable workflows with clear exception handling.

• Evangelize Data-Driven Decisioning: Define how FinOps intelligence integrates with leadership dashboards, forecasts, and commercial models.

Requirements:

• 6+ years of Product Management experience, preferably in fintech, payments, or enterprise financial systems.
• Demonstrated experience in financial operations, reconciliation systems, or ERP/FinOps tooling
• Strong technical fluency — ability to work closely with engineering and data teams to define scalable, API-driven, and auditable solutions.
• Deep understanding of financial data flows — settlements, ledgers, billing, and vendor management.
• Hands-on familiarity with:
• API ecosystems
• (REST, authentication, rate limiting, schema evolution)
• Data lakes and medallion architectures
• (Bronze–Silver–Gold layer modeling for reconciliation and analytics)
• Kafka or similar messaging systems
• for event-driven data pipelines
• File transfer and exchange protocols
• (SFTP, ISO 20022,CSV/XML feed automation)
• Cloud-based data processing
• frameworks for reconciliation and ledger enrichment.
• Proven ability to define product charters, measurable KPIs, and execute through ambiguity.
• Familiarity with automation and agentic systems — e.g., AI-driven anomaly detection, workflow orchestration, or large-language-model-based assistants.
• Adept at balancing financial control rigor with automation efficiency
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills — able to translate technical complexity into business clarity across finance, compliance, and engineering.

• Bias for execution: comfortable with complex data environments, competing priorities, and evolving regulations.

Good to have:

• Experience building or integrating with ERP, reconciliation, or treasury systems.
• Understanding of multi-entity or multi-currency ledgering.
• Exposure to cost-allocation and profitability analytics for SaaS or payments platforms.
• Familiarity with security and compliance automation tooling (audit/evidence pipelines, access-control frameworks).
• Background in developer-facing or internal platform products that drive operational efficiency.

• Experience shaping cross-team charters in collaboration with DataEngineering, Finance, and Platform Infrastructure teams.
