Senior Product Manager

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities include:

Product Strategy & Vision

• Define and drive the product strategy aligned with our mission and growth goals.
• Own the product roadmap from ideation to execution, with a laser focus on innovation, scalability, and customer value.
• Evaluate new product opportunities based on market trends, customer needs, and emerging technologies.

Product Development & Execution

• Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Client Success, and Marketing teams to deliver high-impact products.
• Translate market and client needs into actionable product requirements and user stories.
• Champion a user-centric, data-informed product development process.

Client Engagement & Market Insight

• Engage directly with healthcare clients to gather feedback, understand pain points, and ensure products meet or exceed expectations.
• Drive the development and delivery of impactful product demos, user manuals, and training resources.
• Stay ahead of healthcare analytics, AI/ML advancements, and regulatory shifts to inform product development.

Leadership & Team Management

• Build, coach, and mentor a high-performing product management team.
• Foster a collaborative, accountable, and customer-obsessed product culture across the company.
• Act as a thought leader internally and externally, representing WSH at industry events and client engagements.

Operational Excellence

• Implement best practices in product lifecycle management, including rigorous QA, pre-handover checks, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Partner with Finance to manage product budgets, perform cost-benefit analyses, and shape pricing strategies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Educational Background

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Administration, or related field.
• MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred.

Experience

• 15+ years of experience in product management, with significant focus in healthcare analytics, data products, or insurance domain.
• Proven track record of launching and scaling data-driven products in complex enterprise environments.
• Experience managing large-scale analytics initiatives from concept to deployment.

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency with data and analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Python, R).
• Experience with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Snowflake) is a plus.
• Understanding of AI/ML use cases in healthcare and insurance domains.
• Familiarity with data modelling, integration, and quality assurance best practices.
• 8+ years in building analytics to drive strategy with positive outcomes and measuring impact
• 5+ years of hands-on Experience in SQL /SAS with proven ability to leverage advanced algorithms and be efficient in handling complex/large data.
• 3+ years of experience in BI tools, e.g. Power BI, Tableau, Birst, etc.
• 5+ years in marketing analytics
• 5+ years of experience in managing teams with ability to motivate team, drive change, create a culture of learning, innovation and recognition
• Ability to solve complex technical and people-oriented problems with minimal supervision
• Advanced proficiency in MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint with superior data analyses and story boarding skills
• Strong written/oral communication & stakeholder management skills

Domain Knowledge

• Deep understanding of Revenue Cycle Management, payer-provider workflows, and healthcare operations.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, Hitrust and various regulatory compliance, risk modelling, customer segmentation, financial optimization in healthcare.
