Job Description

Key Responsibilities:1. Import & Domestic Coordination

  • Manage end-to-end import operations, primarily from China and other sourcing countries.
  • Coordinate domestic procurement as per company requirements.
  • Ensure smooth documentation, logistics, and communication for all shipments.
  • Track and monitor shipment movement until delivery, ensuring timely clearance and dispatch.

2. Supplier & Vendor Management

  • Communicate regularly and professionally with both overseas and local suppliers.
  • Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery timelines to achieve cost efficiency.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with reliable vendors for consistent supply and quality.

3. Product Knowledge & Development

  • Understand product specifications, materials, and finishes thoroughly to ensure correct sourcing.
  • Stay updated on market trends, new materials, and innovations in home textiles.
  • Coordinate with the product development and design teams to align new product sampling and approvals.

4. Quality Control & Inspection

  • Plan and execute quality checks and inspections (at factory or warehouse level).
  • Ensure every product meets the brand’s quality standards before shipment or dispatch.
  • Report and resolve any quality issues in coordination with vendors and internal teams.

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain proper records of imports, domestic purchases, shipment schedules, and supplier performance.
  • Prepare periodic reports on order status, cost analysis, and stock movement.
  • Follow proper reporting formats and share updates regularly with the management team.

6. Inventory Planning & Reordering

  • Monitor sales trends and stock levels to plan timely reorders and new product launches.
  • Coordinate with warehouse, sales, and accounts teams to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
  • Assist in forecasting demand and managing replenishment schedules effectively.

7. Coordination & Follow-ups

  • Maintain timely follow-ups with vendors, freight agents, and internal teams for on-time execution.
  • Address any urgent or unforeseen issues proactively and communicate updates promptly.
  • Ensure product launches align with market requirements and brand timelines.

8. Travel & Market Visits

  • Be willing to travel domestically and internationally for supplier meetings, inspections, or trade fairs.
  • Conduct factory visits or audits to ensure supplier capabilities and quality consistency.

Required Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
  • Excellent follow-up and organizational ability with attention to detail.
  • Sound understanding of import documentation and domestic sourcing.
  • Analytical mindset for cost control, vendor comparison, and performance evaluation.
  • Good grasping power and product knowledge orientation.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, email communication, and basic ERP or data tracking systems.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks independently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
