Senior Manager Production

A. Production Planning and Execution

a. Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of production to ensure on-time delivery

of products.

b. Optimize production processes, balancing resource allocation to meet demand

fluctuations without compromising efficiency.

c. Manage high-volume production while maintaining flexibility to adapt to product

customization or short production runs.

B. Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence

a. Champion Lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement

methodologies to drive operational excellence.

b. Identify and implement process improvements to reduce waste, increase efficiency, and

improve product quality.

c. Leverage data and technology to monitor and enhance production performance in real

time.

C. Cost Optimisation:

a. Monitor production costs and do a root cause analysis to come up with action plans to

reduce operational expenses without compromising quality or safety.

b. Facilitate procurement of production supplies and equipment, ensuring cost-effective

sourcing.

D. Safety and Environmental Management:

a. Promote a culture of safety by ensuring that all safety procedures and regulations are

adhered to by production teams.

b. Lead incident investigations and ensure corrective actions are taken to prevent future

occurrences.

c. Implement environmental and sustainability practices in line with company and regulatory requirements. E. Quality Assurance and Compliance a. Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, working closely with the quality control team to address defects, process deviations, and product non-conformance. b. Oversee compliance with industry regulations, certifications, and company policies, ensuring a culture of safety and quality. c. Lead initiatives for achieving and maintaining ISO or other relevant quality certifications. F. Inventory and Resource Management: a. Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure production continuity while minimizing waste and stockouts. b. Optimize the use of resources, including machinery, manpower, and materials, to maximize output. c. Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure equipment reliability. G. Team Management and Leadership: a. Supervise, coach, and develop production teams, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are clearly communicated. b. Lead daily production meetings to review targets, performance, and operational challenges. c. Ensure proper staffing levels, and handle recruitment, training, and performance management of production personnel. H. Collaboration and Communication: a. Work closely with other departments, including supply chain, engineering, maintenance, and quality, to ensure alignment on production goals and strategies. b. Communicate production status, challenges, and achievements to senior management. c. Foster a culture of teamwork and collaboration within the production department.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
