Senior Manager Production

We are looking for a dynamic and committed professional to manage the end-to-end production activities in our Bus Body Plant at Goa. The individual will be fully responsible for shop floor operations, ensuring smooth workflow across man and machine processes and delivering results with commitment, accountability, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, plan, and execute all shop floor production activities for bus body manufacturing.
• Ensure the daily output target of minimum 12 buses per shift (including all aggregate fitments and complete production activities).
• Coordinate and align with allied departments (Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and Supply Chain) to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
• Implement and sustain best practices in production, lean manufacturing, and process improvement.
• Drive manpower management, skill deployment, and workforce motivation to meet performance standards.
• Monitor and optimize machine utilization, productivity, and efficiency while minimizing downtime.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks promptly to prevent production halts.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
• Ensure accountability for end-to-end processes – manpower, machines, materials, and methods.

Candidate Profile

• Experience: Minimum 10–15 years of strong shop floor experience in heavy vehicle / bus body / automotive / manufacturing industry.
• Proven track record of handling end-to-end production responsibilities on the shop floor.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to drive teams aggressively towards achieving daily production targets.
• Hands-on approach, not laid-back – must be proactive, accountable, and committed.
• Exposure to lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, and process excellence will be an added advantage.
• Education: B.E. / Diploma in Mechanical / Automobile / Production Engineering (preferred).
