Job Overview:

The company is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Manager – Production from the food industry with strong expertise in production planning and coordination. The role involves supervising the complete production cycle, coordinating with suppliers and manufacturers, ensuring timely raw material availability, tracking production progress, and maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning & Scheduling: Develop, implement, and monitor production plans to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.
• Supplier & Manufacturer Coordination: Maintain communication with suppliers, vendors, and manufacturers to ensure uninterrupted supply and production flow.
• Production Oversight: Supervise daily production activities and ensure adherence to food safety and quality standards.
• Tracking & Monitoring: Track production performance, ensure progress against targets, and ensure timely delivery of finished goods.
• Raw Material Management: Plan and manage raw material availability to prevent shortages or excess stock.
• Reporting & Documentation: Prepare production reports, MIS, and dashboards for management review.
• Problem Solving: Address and resolve issues such as delays, shortages, and deviations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with procurement, quality assurance, and logistics teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase productivity.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Production, Supply Chain, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in production planning in the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and raw material planning.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and production planning tools.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and coordination skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Production Planning or Supply Chain Management.
• Experience with ERP/SAP systems (preferred but not mandatory).
• Willingness to travel to factory locations when required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹70,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
