Senior Manager Production

Job Purpose:

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervising production operations complying process safety requirements.
• Report to upper management on daily basis
• Monitor production to resolve issues to minimize downtimes/ delays through instruction and follow up.
• Preparing shift schedule for manpower involved in production operation.
• Preparation of Daily production report and reporting to seniors accordingly.
• Preparation of production plan to meet the production targets.
• Determine necessary resources (workforce, raw materials etc.) on daily basis.
• Ensure production output meets quality standards and plan handover to store afterword's.
• Review of batch manufacturing records, check lists and other documents on daily basis to ensure no deviations in it.
• Imparting training to shop floor employees regarding operating procedure and process safety requirements as well.
• Preparing of weekly and monthly production norms by taking shopfloor stock quantity.
• Monitoring raw materials quantity in each shift at plant shop floor and update the balance in material reconciliation.
• Ensure availability of utilities before charging the batch.
• Liaise with other servicing departments to streamline production processes without downtimes and delays
• Participate in cleaning and process validation during batch start up process.
• Ensure 100% adherence to EHS requirements in shifts as applicable to production shop floor
• Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Educational Qualification:

  B. Tech in Chemical Engineering

• Experience:

  Minimum 15 years in relevant field

Skills & Competencies:

• Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations.
• Proficient in MS Office and ERP software.
• Having profound knowledge about HAZOP, HIRAC, PSSR and aspect-Impact analysis
• Having IMS knowledge with documentation skills
• 5S and TPM knowledge
